The ex-lawyer for the former president has stepped down as the US Attorney for New Jersey. This comes after a judicial decision that questioned her legal standing to serve.

Official Departure

The nation's top law enforcement official, Pam Bondi, accepted her stepping down on the start of the week. In a statement that the appeals court finding made it unworkable for Habba to lead the department effectively.
